The "People’s Premiere": On March 20th, 2009, The Age of Stupid made film history by premiering the film simultaneously via satellite all over the world. The Guiness Book of World Records has officially recognized "The People’s Premiere" as a world-record holder for the biggest simultaneous premiere of all time.
Film Synopsis: The Age of Stupid is the new film from director Franny Armstrong (McLibel) and producer John Battsek (One Day In September). Oscar-nominated Pete Postlethwaite stars as a man living alone in the devastated world of 2055, looking at "old" footage from 2008 and asking: why didn’t we stop climate change when we had the chance? This is one of the most important films of 2009, kicking off with a World Premiere in March.
