Burma VJ – Get Involved

PhotobucketOn 14th July, Burma VJ will premiere on 40 screens nationwide with an introduction from Dame Vivienne Westwood beamed live via satellite from BAFTA in London. A Q&A including the director and one of the VJs will take place after the film which will also be beamed to all the cinemas around the country. There will also be a few words from a VERY special mystery guest…

Here are a few things you can do to get involved on the night, as well as in the run up and after the event.

• Find the closest participating cinema to you here and book your tickets. Be quick, some cinemas are already selling out!

• Support the Burma VJs with the Be a VJ Widget

• You Can Follow Burma VJ on Facebook and Twitter.

• Download the e-flyer and forward it to everyone you know.

• Look at the list of participating cinemas. Click on a cinema (eg Cambridge Vue), then click on “Tell a Friend”.

Download the free poster and stick up in your school/office/window or buy the massive movie-size poster and do the same.

• Announce the premiere at campaign meetings/school assemblies/business events.

• You can also download an exclusive app designed for the iPhone to follow the latest news about the film and the situation in Burma here.
